ABOUT CPEP

Caribbean Private Equity Partners ("CPEP") is a leading investment firm deploying capital in the Caribbean Basin with long standing and deep professional and personal relationships throughout the region.

CPEP is managed by an experienced investment team led by Mr. Stephen B. Facey, Mr. David Millan, Mr. Paul R. Hanworth, Mr. Jose J. Rodriguez Suarez, Mr. Paul A. B. Facey, Mr. Anthony S. Rust and Mr. Stephen G. Phillibert. Collectively, they have over 330 years of investment and finance industry experience. CPEP's team members are Caribbean Basin subject matter experts and have strong historical / cultural ties, economic interests and experience in the region.

GROWTH CAPITAL

There is a significant void in the Caribbean Basin capital continuum resulting in an opportunity for CPEP to fill this capital void through growth capital investments.

CPEP invests in proven companies seeking capital for growth, with strong management teams in place, having assets with scalable business models and in industries with defined exit channels.

RENEWABLE ENERGY

The Caribbean Basin region, especially the Antilles, has a high dependency on imported fossil fuels while the majority of the countries have extensive wind and solar reources.

CPEP invests in "ready to build" projects with long term PPAs relying on proven technologies like solar photovoltaics, onshore wind and small scale hydro.

LEADERSHIP TEAM

Mr. Facey brings over 35 years of investment experience in the Caribbean Basin to the Fund. In addition to his role as a General Partner and Principal of the CPEP Caribbean Basin Fund, Mr. Facey is also the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Pan-Jamaican Investment Trust Limited one of the largest, most preeminent investment corporations operating in the Caribbean Basin for over 50 years.
Mr. Facey is a graduate of Rice University and the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Facey is a Member of the CPEP Caribbean Basin Fund Investment Committee.

Mr. Stephen B. Facey
Mr. Millan has over 16 years of experience in global financial services including private equity, M&A advisory and strategic planning. He has extensive investment experience in renewable energy projects.
Mr. Millan hails from Colombia, has a MSc in Finance from London Business School, a MIEM from SDA Bocconi and an AB in Economics from Princeton University.
Mr. Millan is a member of the CPEP investment committee.

Mr. David Millan
Mr. Hanworth has over 35 years of investment and financial services experience. In addition to being a General Partner and Principal of the CPEP Caribbean Basin Fund, Mr. Hanworth has served as a Director, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Pan-Jamaican Investment Trust Limited. Mr. Hanworth serves on the boards of several Caribbean Basin companies, including: Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited, British Caribbean Insurance Company Limited, Rainforest Seafoods Limited, Jamaica Property Company Limited and a number of Pan-Jam’s other subsidiaries and associated companies.

Mr. Paul R. Hanworth
Mr. Rodriguez has over a decade of experience in the financial services industry, including private equity, investment banking and investment consulting.
He has an MBA with honors from the University of Chicago (Booth) and a MS/BBA in Finance from Villanova University.
Mr. Rodriguez's family owns one of the largest diversified private companies in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, V. Suarez Group.

Mr. Rodriguez is a member of the CPEP investment committee.

Mr. Jose J. Rodriguez Suarez
Mr. Facey has approximately twenty years of investment, banking and operating experience. In addition to his role ais a General Partner and Principal of the CPEP Caribbean Basin Fund, Mr. Facey is also the Vice President, Investments of Pan-Jamaican Investment Trust Limited and has served in that capacity for twelve years.
Mr. Facey sits on the Boards of Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited, Sagicor Bank Jamaica Limited and Sagicor Investments Jamaica Limited.
Mr. Facey is a Member of the CPEP Caribbean Basin Fund Investment Committee.

Mr. Paul A. B. Facey
Mr. Rust has nearly 25 years of investment industry experience. Mr. Rust's private equity experience includes serving as Sr. Managing Partner of the billion dollar boutique PE FoF Gerard Klauer Mattison
Mr. Rust's family hails from Jamaica, Panama and Costa Rica, has a bachelors degree from Tufts University and a masters degree from The George Washington University/SUNY and is an International MBA candidate from the University of the West Indies.
Mr. Rust is a member of the CPEP investment committee.

Mr. Anthony S. Rust
Mr. Phillibert has nearly twenty years of investment experience in the Caribbean Basin. In addition to his role as a Partner of the CPEP Caribbean Basin Fund, he serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Pan-Jamaican Investment Trust Ltd.
His experience includes leading mergers & acquisitions as divestments for the GraceKennedy Group, with operations in the Caribbean Basin, US, Canada and the UK. Transactions handled included industries like food & beverage, banking & investments, insurance, remittance services, manufacturing, retail & distribution.
